Pakistan's Jamat-I-Islami on Monday accused President Pervez Musharraf of burying jihad in Kashmir.

The hard-line group said that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's remark about having breakfast at Amritsar, lunch at Lahore and dinner at Kabul is not aimed at regional integration but at achieving 'greater India'.

Both Musharraf and Dr Singh came under heavy attack at the Kashmir Solidarity Day rally organised by the party.

The rally was addressed, among others, by cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan.

"Singh's remarks were aimed at achieving greater India," party general secretary Munawar Hussain said.

He said Muhammad Ghazni, while invading India, had breakfast in Kabul, lunch at Lahore and dinner at Somnath.

Hussain also criticised India for not permitting Hurriyat leader Sayed Ali Geelani to visit Pakistan.

Hitting out at Musharraf, JI leader Qazi Hussain Ahmed said, "Musharraf is trying to bury and end Jehad-e-Kashmir by joining hands with traitors."

"It is a shame for the country, parliament and the people that only five people know about the Kashmir proposals," he said referring to Musharraf's proposals to resolve the Kashmir issue.
