Dera wants judicial probe into allegations

The Dera Sacha Sauda has demanded a judicial probe into the allegations of the Punjab police that it had trained five women suicide bombers.

The allegation is that  the Dera plotted against VVIPs like Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, his son Sukhbir Singh Badal and several others.

Dera chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh had landed in controversy for posing as Guru Gobind Singh in one of his pictures released to the media just before the Punjab elections.

He has been charged with two murders and rapes and the matter is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigations.

The women whose portraits have been released to the media include Gurcharan Kaur,Virpal Kaur, Usha Rani, Kuldeep Kaur and Binderpal.

All of them are followers of Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh and have been closely associated with him. One more woman has been identified but her name has not been released.
