The Bangalore police, which is probing the antecedents of the Bangalore-based doctors and engineer who are suspects in the UK terror plot, are relying heavily on the material they found on the hard disks seized from Khafeel Ahmed's home.

According to sources in the Bangalore police, they are likely to receive all the contents on the disk by the end of August from the Andhra Pradesh Forensic Sciences Laboratory.

Police sources told rediff.com that the material that they receive from the disk will propel the probe into the next stage and it would become clear as to who Khafeel was involved with and also his modus operandi.

It is said the hard disks contain jihadi material used to brainwash and recruit youth. Sources say that apart from the jihadi content, the disks also contained material on how to make bombs.

Khafeel, an engineer, drove a flaming SUV into the Glasgow airport during the attack. He succumbed to his burn injuries last week.
