A three-and-half year old child of an oil exploration company manager was rescued by the police just 13 hours after his kidnap from Mumbai's western suburb.
Nihal Kolhapurkar was allegedly kidnapped by carpenters Bipin Singh and Raju Rajbhor from his playschool in suburban Malad at 1130 hours on Wednesday, police said on Thursday.
The duo fled with Nihal on a motorcycle and informed his mother about the kidnap and said they would call her again. During investigation, Nihal's mother mentioned about the carpentry work done at her residence last year
by the accused, which led the police to Singh, who was one of the workers there.
