SC notices CBI on Salem's petition

The Supreme Court on Monday issued notices to the Maharashtra government and the Central Bureau of Investigation on a petition that extradited gangster Abu Salem filed.

Salem had challenged the separation of his trial from other accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
