Multi-crore stamp paper scam accused Abdul Karim Telgi, whose narco-analysis tapes of 2003 seeking to link Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal in the case were aired by TV channels on Wednesday, on Thursday said he would issue a detailed reaction in this connection soon.

Repeating his earlier charge that he feared threats from some people as he was "denied proper treatment" at the Sassoon General Hospital in Pune despite being seriously ill and a court order to this effect, Telgi, lodged at Pune's Yerawada Central Jail for over three years, told his lawyer Milind Pawar that he was not aware of the broadcast till informed by him.

"I do not have a television here and since newspaper offices were closed yesterday on account of Ganesh idol immersion ceremony, there were no newspapers today. I came to know about this during the hearing in Bangalore held today via video-conferencing from Pune, when I was asked for reaction by my lawyer there, to the narco-analysis test reports aired on television," he said.

"I said that I was unaware of them and would issue a detailed reaction after reading the newspapers on Friday," Pawar said quoting Telgi.

Meanwhile, Telgi has given an eight-page statement to Pawar, asking him to file an application in the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act that he was not being given proper treatment.

"They are not bothered about me. From the way the Sasoon Hospital and others responsible are treating me, my impression is that some people want to see me dead soon," Telgi, who is afflicted with HIV and other ailments, said.
