One person was arrested for allegedly keeping a box containing some explosive substance at a shopping complex, which triggered panic in the textile town, hit by bomb blasts on September 8 that claimed 31 lives.
Thirtytwo-year old Rayees Ahmed Rajjak Ali, resident of Naya Islampura locality, was arrested on Monday for placing the box containing explosive substance used in firecrackers mixed with soil and stones at Mohmedia complex, police said.
Rayees has been remanded to police custody till October 30, police said, adding he was the brother-in-law of Shabbir, who had been arrested in connection with the July 11 train
