Romania, a member of the Nuclear Suppliers Group, on Monday supported India's quest for civil nuclear cooperation with the international community and expressed willingness to establish strategic partnership in energy as well as defence sectors.
The two countries also strongly emphasised the need for democratic nations to join efforts to 'effectively' deal with the problem of terrorism and favoured early adoption of the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism by the United Nations.
