Twenty-one militants have surrendered before the army in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said on Wednesday.

The ultras, mostly belonging to the Hizb-e-Islami outfit, surrendered on Tuesday, he said.

The militants had returned from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir recently, the spokesman said.
