Police are exercising caution and additional force has been deployed in the Chambal ravines following reports that Adobe India CEO Naresh Gupta's abducted son Anant had reached the clutches of dreaded dacoit Jagjivan Parihar.
Bastar Range Inspector General of Police D C Sagar said Noida and Etawah police were being contacted to ascertain on what basis the suspicion was expressed. Three-year-old Anant was on way to his school with his maid when two persons arrived on a motorcycle and abducted him from outside his residence in posh Sector 15 A of Noida, a satellite township of New Delhi.
The abductors have allegedly handed over Anant to Parihar, who carries a reward of Rs 5.15 lakh on his head. A ransom of Rs 1 crore
