The anticipatory bail application of a relative of Mohammad Fahad, the suspected Al Badr terrorist who was arrested in connection with the Mysore terror plot, was dismissed by the district court in Kozhikode on Thursday.

Najma, wife of Abdul Khader, who is the step-brother of Fahad, had moved the Court on November 6 seeking anticipatory bail for herself and her husband. However, the court accepted the prosecution's submission that the application be dismissed as the probe in connection with Fahad's Kerala links was at a crucial stage.

Najma had stated in her application that she feared arrest as she was being subjected to frequent questioning by the police.

Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team took into custody some more persons in connection with the fake passport secured by Fahad during his stay in Kozhikode earlier, police said.

Four persons -- an ASI, a head constable, postman and a travel agent -- have been remanded to judicial custody for their alleged role in arranging the fake passport. Fahad, along with another Pakistani national, Mohammad Ali Hussain, were arrested in Mysore on October 27.
