A powerful hand grenade explosion resulted in the death of a cop and injuries to three at Saraibala in the summer capital Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said militants lobbed a powerful hand grenade at a police jeep near Naz cinema crossing at Saraibala. The grenade exploded inside the vehicle, killing constable Ghulam Nabi on the spot.
