Sonia to visit Rae Bareli

Congress president Sonia Gandhi is expected to visit Rae Bareli in a couple of days.

Party sources said no date has been finalised and she will visit her constituency as early as possible.

This will be Gandhi's first visit to Rae Bareli after resigning from the Lok Sabha. She has, however, declared that she will certainly contest again and that too from Rae Bareli.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the AICC office bearers took place on Thursday evening in the backdrop of the situation caused by Gandhi's resignation from Lok Sabha.
