A total of 126 candidates filed their papers on Thursday for the second phase of Assam Assembly election scheduled for April 10.
According to the state election department, the total number of candidates who have so far submitted their papers have gone up to 211.
Friday is the last date for filing of nomination.
Prominent among those who filed their papers were ministers Bhumidhar Barman and Ripun Bora.
