Police went into a tizzy following recovery of material used for making bombs in the lock-up at the court in Hajipur, the headquarters of Bihar's Vaishali district, on Wednesday.
Official sources said a bag containing gun powder, sulphur, iron nails and pins was sighted at the lock-up on Wednesday morning and the officer in-charge
of the town police station Nikhil Kumar about its presence by phone.
"The bag has been seized and investigation is on," sources said, adding that it was suspected that some accused had brought it during production.
