India, Muscat discuss defence cooperation

India and Oman held discussions in Muscat aimed at enhancing defence cooperation between the two countries.

A delegation led by visiting Indian Chief of Staff Committee and commander of the Indian Naval forces Admiral Arun Prakash Saturday reviewed matters of joint interest with senior defence and government officials in Dubai, the Times of
Oman
said Sunday.

The meetings were attended by military commanders of the Sultan's Armed Forces, the Indian ambassador to the Sultanate and the Indian military attache in Muscat, the paper said.
