Army troops late on Sunday night killed four terrorists who were trying to cross into Indian territory from across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said on Monday that troops in the Gurez sector observed armed men trying to sneak into the valley and challenged them.
Four intruders were killed in the ensuing gun battle, the spokesman added.
