45 killed as Pak plane crashes

A Pakistan International Airlines plane crashed minutes after takeoff near Multan airport in Punjab province on Monday, killing all 45 on board.

The Fokker-688 going to Lahore crashed after hitting power lines. The plane was immediately engulfed in flames and there are no survivors, a PIA official told Geo TV.

Beside 41 passengers, the plane was carrying four crewmembers.
