First Look: Protests greet Bush
February 28, 2006 20:40 IST

Muslims in Mumbai demonstrated against US President George W Bush, who will land in New Delhi on March 1 on a three-day visit.

The landmark visit, which might see a historic civilian nuclear deal inked between India and the US, has already triggered protests from Muslims, human rights activists and the Left parties.

A People's Court in Andhra Pradesh even found the 'war monger Bush guilty on eight counts, including perpetrating terrorism in the name of fighting terrorism and attacking and threatening other countries using the issue of nuclear weapons as a pretext and resorting to human rights violations and large-scale killings of people, including women and children, especially in Afghanistan and Iraq and creating a sense of insecurity in the world'.
