Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh was admitted to All India Institute od Medical Sciences Wednesday evening following complaints of breathlessness.
Singh, 76, was admitted with breathing problems at the cardiac centre, hospital sources said.
Investigations are going on, they said.
