Delhi: Security beefed up at US, UK establishments

Security has been stepped up at all American and British establishments in the capital soon after the execution of ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein early Saturday morning.

A senior police official said additional security personnel has been deployed at prominent American and British establishments situated in the high-security Chanakyapuri area.

Police were keeping a special watch on the Embassies of United States and Britain, the officer said.

Ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was executed on Saturday morning in Baghdad.
