Nafisa Shaikh, a key witness in Sara-Sahara illegal construction case, on Tuesday denied before the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act court in Mumbai that she ever received threats from Chhota Shakeel, Dawood Ibrahim or Sattar Teli, who allegedly wanted her to vacate her house.

Shaikh, one of the main complainants in Sara-Sahara case, had allegedly been asked to vacate her house near Crawford market in south Mumbai for the construction of the Sara-Sahara shopping complex.

The complex is allegedly a benami property of absconding underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

His brother Iqbal Kaskar is one of the accused in the case, who was deported from Dubai and is currently lodged in Aurthur Road jail in Mumbai.

The prosecution's case is that Dawood was making huge investments in real estate in Mumbai, and the Sara-Sahara shopping complex was just one example of it.
