The mega campaign, the first of its kind in the country, will be launched by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and will involve one train each from Jammu, Guwahati, Jodhpur and Kanyakumari.
The trains will cover about 30,000 panchayats and each train will cover a distance of about 6000 kilometres.
"HIV infection is rapidly spreading in rural areas. This drive aims at creating 100 per cent awareness among the people in rural areas on various aspects of the dreaded disease, helping to check the spread of the disease," said Shahnaz Akhtar, senior programme officer (health and disability) of RGF.
Each train will have a cultural troupe, which will create awareness through street plays, folk dance and other events.
Each train would have five coaches, with each of them serving a distinct purpose.
