A Pakistani non-governmental organisation said on Monday that that it has set up four relief camps in quake-hit areas of the country and would rebuild all community centres in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Social worker and founder of Edhi Foundation, Abdul Sattar Edhi, called on Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Monday and informed him that the organisation has set up four relief camps in Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Rawlakoat and Mansehra to distribute relief goods among the quake victims with close coordination of government agencies.

Edhi informed the Aziz that the Foundation would rebuild all community centres in PoK, besides providing thousands of meters of white bed sheets in the hospitals, Pakistani newsagency NNI reported.

Special homes for orphan children would also be set up in the affected areas, Edhi was quoted by NNI as saying. Later, talking to newsmen, Aziz appreciated the services of Edhi Foundation for the society, particularly in the relief works in the quake-affected areas.
