Angry at her letter to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief K S Sudarshan being 'leaked', firebrand Bharatiya Janata Pary leader Uma Bharati asserted on Saturday that the communication was in the 'interest of ideology' but denied that she had used bad language against anybody in it.

"I wrote a letter to the RSS chief. But this charge, that I used bad language, is false and wrong," she said about the communication, in which she is said to to have complained about RSS leader Suresh Soni.

Insisting that she did not want to bring anyone in the controversy surrounding her letter, the former Madhya Pradesh , chief minister told reporters, "I am unhappy with the way the letter is being discussed publicly."

She said her letter, which was 'different' from that being discussed in newspapers, 'is in the interest of the nation. It is in the interest of ideology.'

Refusing to divulge contents of the letter, Bharati said she would not make it public without the permission of the Sangh chief.

Hinting at unnamed party leaders, she alleged that 'cheap politics' was behind the 'leakage' of her confidential letter and that she planned to approach BJP president L K Advani in this regard.

She maintained that Sangh leaders would not have 'leaked' the letter and regretted that the RSS had been dragged into the controversy.
