President's rule to be revoked in Bihar

President of India A P J Abdul Kalam is expected to sign the declaration late on Wednesday night ending the President's Rule in Bihar to pave way for the installation of the new government.

Bihar was placed under President's Rule on May 23, 2005 following the dissolution of the Bihar assembly.

The union cabinet met under the chairmanship of Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh to approve the lifting of the President's rule in following the completion of the state assembly elections to the state and Nitish Kumar being invited by governor Buta Singh to form the next government in Bihar.

"The systems have already been put into place and the Presidential order would follow soon after we receive the proposal from the Union cabinet," S M Khan, press seceretary to the President of India said.
