A five-member All Parties Hurriyat Conference delegation led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq will leave for a two-week tour of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir and Pakistan on June 2.

All five Hurriyat leaders have submitted their travel documents at the Regional Passport Office in Srinagar, the Mirwaiz told rediff.com on the phone from Srinagar.

Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, Maulvi Abbas Ansari, Bilal Gani Lone and Fazal Haq Qureshi are the other members of the delegation.

Speaking on behalf of the state government, member of Parliament Mehbooba Mufti said the Hurriyat delegation will leave for Pakistan on June 2. "We have no problem even if the Hurriyat leaders want to drive to the Line of Control in their own vehicles and then cross the bridge to reach Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir," she said.

Asked about the restriction on their travel beyond PoK, the Mirwaiz said it is a problem between two governments -- India and Pakistan.

"As far as we are concerned, we have been invited to visit both Azad Kashmir (Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir) and Pakistan. We have got permits for two weeks. We do intend to travel to other places outside Kashmir. We would travel some distance in our own vehicles and then board the bus, but if we are allowed to travel up to the border in our own vehicles we would welcome it," he said.

Ministry of External Affairs officials said that they had no information about the travel schedule of Hurriyat leaders so far.
