Pakistan will release 568 Indian fishermen and civilians who have completed their jail terms, at the Wagah border on Sunday.

This will be the second release of prisoners this week.

Three days ago, Pakistan released 21 Indians.

Officials in Islamabad said the second release will include 529 fishermen. Their boats will not be released.

After their release, there will be 273 Indian fishermen in Pakistan's prisons, who are expected to be freed after identification.

After Sunday's release, there will be 63 civilians who have been arrested for entering Pakistan without proper documents. They were duped by travel agents.

The planned release of prisoners comes after appeals to Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf by Left party leaders in India and Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
