The Federation of Indian American Christian Organizations of North America has said it is pleased by the US government's decision to deny a visa to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
In a statement, the FIACONA said the US State Department has made a "strong and right" decision.

"This action by the US administration is a recognition of Modi's involvement in February 2002 killings and his continued policies of harassment of religious minorities in Gujarat," the statement said.
