Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and his family to India to watch cricket in the ongoing India-Pakistan series.
"I have decided to invite President Musharraf to come to India and watch a cricket match," he told the Lok Sabha on Thursday while replying to a debate on the motion of thanks to the President's address to a joint sitting of Parliament on
February 25.
"I must say that nothing brings the people of our sub-continent together than our love for cricket and Bollywood cinema," the prime minister said.
"I am equally conscious of the fact that today even as I speak in this august House, I am competing for the nation's attention with young men like (Virendra) Sehwag and (Asim)
