Pictures of former Patna district magistrate Gautam Goswami, a key accused  in the multi-crore flood aid scam, will be displayed in public places soon.

The posters declaring Goswami an absconder will also seek information on his whereabouts.

A special vigilance court on Friday said Goswami and three other accused in the flood relief scam must surrender within a month or face attachment of their properties.

Goswami withdrew his resignation from the Indian Administrative Service on Friday even as Governor Buta Singh said the process for his dismissal has been set in motion.

Goswami sent a letter withdrawing his resignation to his counsel Tuhin Shanker, who forwarded it to the state's personnel secretary, Ravi Kant.

Goswami had resigned from service in January 2005 and joined the Sahara group of companies as senior vice-president.

Sahara dismissed Goswami on June 6.

The government recently served a show-cause notice on Goswami as to why action should not be initiated against him for joining a private company even before his resignation was accepted.
