The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday arrested Amit Jogi, son of former Chhatisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi, in connection with the murder of Nationalist Congress Party treasurer Ram Avtar Jaggi.
Amit, who appeared before the CBI in the afternoon, was questioned by the sleuths of special crime unit of the agency about his alleged role in the murder of Jaggi, agency sources said.
They said the officials decided to place him under arrest after he allegedly failed to answer the questions properly.
