Fog ebbed on Tuesday after affecting normal life for two days in the national capital and nearby areas even as cold conditions strengthened with maximum temperature dropping four degrees below normal.
All flights were on schedule, sources in the Indira Gandhi International Airport said. Trains services, however, remained partially affected due to foggy conditions in other parts of the country, railways sources said.
The maximum temperature was 18.1 degrees Celsius, four below normal, and the minimum was normal at 7.3 degrees Celsius, the Indian Meteorological Department said.
The sky would remain clear and but mist or fog is likely to hit back on Wednesday in Delhi and nearby areas.
