Nepalese government has expressed its readiness to hold talks with the Maoist rebels at "any time, any place and on any agenda" and said it was prepared to immediately withdraw the Red Corner Notice against the guerrillas once they agree for dialogue.

The government is ready to hold dialogue with the Maoists at "any place, any time and on any agenda," Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister Bharatmohan Adhikary said at a function in Kathmandu on Saturday.

The government is ready to discuss all agenda of the Maoists and it would be a big loss for the rebels if they don't come for the peace dialogue, he said.

He also advised the rebels not to daydream about coming to power by coercing people at the gun-point.

Adhikary said that restoration of peace is the will of the people and the government is ready to immediately withdraw the Red Corner Notice and other obstructions once the rebels inform about their readiness for dialogue, The Rising Nepal quoted him as saying.
