Six policemen killed in Naxal attack

Six policemen were killed when Naxalites attacked with hand grenades their camp at Venkammanahalli in Pavagada taluk of Karnataka's Tumkur district in the early hours of Friday, a senior police official said.

The Karnataka State Reserve Police personnel were staying in a school building, Karnataka Director General of Police S N Borkar told PTI.

"It is definitely the handiwork of Naxalites," he said.
