Elections to the Bihar Assembly will be held before November 22, Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami said on Friday.
"The chief election commissioner has said that polls in Bihar will be held before November 22. I have nothing more to add on that," he told reporters at the Chennai airport.
He said the team of EC officials, deputed to check the complaints of "stuffing" of electoral rolls with bogus voters in Tamil Nadu, had submitted its report and the EC was examining the report.
"We will take action against those responsible for attempting to include bogus voters (in the rolls) after the examination is over," he said.
