Girls fiddling with live shell killed

Three girls, aged between 7-9 years, were killed when they fiddled with a live shell that exploded in Batalik sub sector of Kargil, official sources said on Monday.

The girls,

who were grazing their cattle, died on the spot in the blast that took place Sunday evening, they said.

The girls -- Najma (7), Maqsooma (8) and Maqsooda (9) belonged to Lalung village.
