A six-member delegation of the hardline faction of Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani is scheduled to meet Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf in New Delhi on Monday.
The decision to depute the delegation was taken at a meeting of the majlis-e-shoura (advisory board) of the amalgam, a spokesman of the hardline separatist group said.
The board has authorised Geelani, Agha Syed Hassan of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Nayeem Ahmad Kkhan (National Front), Saidullah Tantray (Freedom Movement), Sheikh Ali Mohammad (Jamaat-e-Islami) and Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori (breakaway group of People's League) to represent the Hurriyat at the meeting, the spokesman said.
