A passenger who will travel by the inaugural Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus on April 7 claimed on Friday he has received death threats from Al-Nasreen militant outfit.

Al-Nasreen, along with three other militant outfits, have warned people against undertaking the journey.

"We received threat calls from Al-Nasreen," former deputy commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, Khalid Hussain said.

He, along with his wife Naseem Firdos, is travelling to Muzaffarabad to meet relatives in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

Khalid said terrorists called on his mobile and landline phones on Thursday night and threatened to kill all those who would travel by the bus.

However, Khalid is unfazed and is determined to travel by the inaugural bus. "Nothing would stop us from meeting our relatives after decades of separation," he said.
