PM arrives in Jammu

Amidst tight security, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Jammu on Thursday on a daylong visit.

He will chair a meeting of the Unified Command, address the Council of Ministers of the state and a public rally.

The PM will also interact with several political and social organisations.

Singh will visit the migrant camp at Muthi, situated on the outskirts of the city.

He will address a press conference before leaving for New Delhi.

The PM, who is on a two-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir, was in the valley on Wednesday.
