A correspondent of Zee News channel allegedly committed suicide in Bangalore after being jilted by her lover, the police said on Monday.
Thirty-year-old Khairunnisa hung herself in her rented residence, the police added.
The incident came to light on Monday morning after her roommates informed the police the house was bolted from inside and she was not responding.
The police said Khairunnisa had left a suicide note in which she has said she was in love for long with a man but he did not keep his promise of marrying her.
