Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav will visit Srinagar on Saturday to meet the bereaved family of senior railway engineer Sudhir Kumar Pundir, who was abducted and killed by suspected Lashkar-e-Tayiba militants.
The
bodies of Pundir and his brother, who too was killed by the militants, was recovered by the police on Friday.
Lalu is also scheduled to meet security and civil officials to gather more details about the double-murder.
Pundir, an Indian Railway Construction engineer, was overseeing the work on an ambitious railway project aimed at connecting the Kashmir valley with Jammu.
