National Democratic Alliance convenor George Fernandes on Thursday promised full support to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, whose government is under pressure following Congress member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi's criticism on the law and order situation in the state.
The Mulayam Singh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh is dependent on Congress support for survival.
"All the strength which is required will be there to support Mulayam," Fernandes said when asked to comment on Gandhi's statement against the UP government.
"However," he said, "NDA has not discussed the issue yet."
