Pak will conduct 'big' missile test: Musharraf

Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday told mediapersons in Islamabad to expect a 'big' missile test in the next two months.

He made this revelation while replying to queries about pressure from the US to roll back its nuclear and missile weapons development programme. Local publications reported that he insisted there would not be any kind of roll back.

Pakistan was in the midst of a scandal recently after one of its technocrats, Abdul Qadeer Khan, revered as the father of the country's atomic bomb, confessed to leaking nuclear secrets to Iran, North Korea and Libya. The US made a lot of noise about nuclear proliferation but refused to take any action against Pakistan citing its support to its war on terror in Afghanistan.
