Leading Marathi actor Laxmikant Berde died in Mumbai on Thursday after a brief illness, family sources said.
Berde, 50, had made his debut in Marathi film Lek Chalali Sasarla
and was a renowned artiste in the Hindi and Marathi film industry. He won nationwide popularity for his comic role in Maine Pyar Kiya, which was a major hit.
