Armed men shot dead three persons at Hisua village in Bihar's Nalanda district, the police said on Thursday.
The men, belonging to the dreaded Kapildev Singh gang, gunned down Vijay Yadav when he was returning to the village from a local market on Wednesday evening, the police said.
The gunmen later killed Nand Kumar Singh and Mithilesh Singh also, the police added.
Police patrolling has been intensified in the area following the killings.
