A Kanchipuram court has extended till December 23 the judicial remand of Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswati in an assault case.
The 23rd Metropolitan Magistrate, Uma Maheswari, also extended the remand of seven other accused in connection with the assault on former mutt associate G Radhakrishnan in 2002.
The remand was extended through video conferencing facility.
