The starlet-model, who has accused Chandni Bar director Madhur Bhandarkar of rape, on Monday accused him of running a slander campaign against her.

Addressing a press conference in suburban Oshiwara in Mumbai, she said she will oppose Bhandarkar's bail in a high court.

Bhandarkar was granted bail on July 30 by Principal Judge R R Vachha.

The starlet-model has alleged Bhandarkar maintained a sexual relationship with her for five years. Though it was consensual sex, she believes that since Bhandarkar had promised to cast her in his movies, a promise he did not keep, it amounted to rape.

The victim could not answer several questions posed by the media. At one point she snapped at a journalist, calling her 'Bhandarkar's agent.'

The starlet-model, who has done bit roles in some of Bhandarkar's movies, said she had sought Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray's help, but all she got was sympathy.
