MBA at Panjab University

University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh announces admission to the two-year full time management courses commencing July 2004.

Eligibility: A Bachelor's/Post-Graduate degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities/All India Council of Technical Education for Post-Graduate Studies in any discipline with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or a pass in the final examination conducted by ICA/ICWA/ICSI or AMIE with 50% Marks.

Note: 

1. Candidates appearing in their final degree examination are eligible to apply and can take the test provisionally. 

2. Reservations as per approved norms of Panjab University. 

3. Concessions of 5% marks in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/BC candidates. 

Admission Procedure:  

Admission to the Master's Degree in Business Administration of UBS will be through Common Admission Test conducted by the IIMs. Candidates seeking admission to UBS may please observe the following procedure: 

The UBS Application Form and Handbook of Information will be available at the State Bank of India counter, Panjab University on payment of Rs 1,000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST Candidates), from September 17 to November 21, 2003.

Requests for application forms by post up to November 10, 2003 may be addressed to the Manager, Publication Bureau, Panjab University, Chandigarh enclosing a crossed  Bank Draft of Rs 1,050 (Rs 550 for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh and a self addressed envelope (30x25cms) with effect from September 17, 2003.

Last date for submission of completed application form to Assistant Registrar, University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh is November 21, 2003 by 5 pm.

Important Note: University uses CAT for short listing candidates for two-year full-time MBA programmes. IIMs have no role either in selection process or in the conduct of the programmes. 

Note: Panjab University does not take any responsibility for any postal delay in delivery by courier or by any other means or loss in transit of the application form.

1. Sale of forms at SBI counter: September 17 to November 21, 2003.

2. Sale by post: September 17 to November 10, 2003.

3. Last date for submission of forms at UBS: November 21, 2003.
