Three militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pattan area of Baramulla district on Friday, a defence spokesman said in Srinagar.
The militants were killed in a gunfight with army soldier at Khui-Sultanpora of Pattan area in the evening, the spokesman said.
The identity of the militants and the recoveries from the site of encounter were not known yet, he said. Security forces, he added, did not suffer any casualties in the incident.
